A milestone in the ‘Strengthening Governance and Management of Human Resource for Health (HRH) in Kenya’ Project!

This project is a collaborative partnership between Strathmore University’s PRISM Center and the Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council to build evidence in support of KHHRAC’s mandate.

And what an amazing beginning for our journey!

Strathmore Business School (SBS) and the Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council hosted a successful first National Advisory Committee meeting towards Strengthening Health Workforce Governance and Management in Kenya. The goal of the meeting was to align efforts and find ways of strengthening our most valuable resource: the health workforce.

This milestone brought together a powerhouse of minds from across the public and private sectors: visionary policy experts, passionate union leaders, pioneering training institutions, and innovative tech champions. The energy in the room was electric as we aligned on a shared vision: building a more agile, skilled, and future-ready health workforce.

Insightful discussions around strategy, capacity building, and technology-driven solutions laid a strong foundation for what’s ahead.

A big thank you to our outstanding committee members for their dedication and the immense value of their insights. The foundation is laid, the momentum is great, and we’re more motivated than ever to make a difference.

The future of the health workforce is bright and we’re building it, together.
